Artist Statement

My artwork explores my memories and identity. It is how I understand who I am and how I navigate through life. My two concentrations are ceramics and digital art. Clay allows me to create functional reflective pieces, while my digital art style is inspired by nostalgia, abstraction and surrealism. Both mediums allow me to experiment and consistently try new techniques.  Through my artistic practice my work becomes a mirror, a reflection of myself.
